How Can I Help?

Susie Howe, Nutrition and Wellness Coach, working at laptop

I’m here to offer you my full support! I know from personal experience that making nutrition and lifestyle changes in midlife can be really challenging - I had a bookcase of books that were part read or were waiting to be read, a pile of programmes that I’d signed up to and started but weren’t sustainable, recipes that I’d saved online but never made. It was hard finding the motivation to begin making changes as it felt so overwhelming and I didn’t really know how to start.

This is where I, as a fully qualified nutrition & wellness coach, can help! I offer a completely open, honest and non-judgement space and I’m here to provide you with support, accountability and consistency throughout your health and wellness journey.

I currently offer a few different services:

1:1 Midlife Programmes - I offer a 6 week Midlife Boost Programme as working together intensely can often be a more effective way to instigate habit change. It’s ideal if you’re looking to boost your energy levels, metabolism, gut health, mood, immunity and some weight loss.

I also offer a 12 week Midlife Balance Programme for clients who have longer term health goals and would like my support in making sustainable changes to achieve balance beyond 6 weeks. This programme is more suitable if you would like to balance your hormones and nutrition with longer-term support.

1:1 Midlife Nutrition & Lifestyle Review - for clients who would like a review of their current diet and lifestyle. This service provides clients with recommendations on how they can optimise their health and nutrition and is ideal for those who are looking for a few tweaks rather than an in depth health plan.

1:1 Midlife Metabolic Three Day Detox - based on the concept of a fasting mimicking diet and includes nourishing smoothies, soups, slaws and bakes as well as a range of snack options. It’s a fantastic way to re-set and is incredibly powerful for longevity, healing, lowering inflammation and fat loss as it creates the right inner conditions for the body to trigger a healing response.

Non-diet approach

My aim throughout my midlife programmes is supporting you to become your healthiest version from the inside out by focusing on foundational nourishment. Making some small changes to everyday habits can lead to a significant impact longer term. It can also prevent or start to reverse out of many lifestyle related diseases such as minimising the risk of cardiovascular health issues, cut out the risk of type 2 diabetes, minimise the risk of some cancers and stroke. By optimising your health before or during the perimenopause and menopause years, you’re setting yourself up for many more years than the menopause lasts for an even better health span.

I use a non-diet approach with simple changes designed to be sustainable. I meet all my clients where they’re at with a blank page and use holistic root cause thinking while making real-life practical recommendations.

‘Those who consumed a high quality diet were much less likely to suffer from any symptoms. Even if they were already overweight. Hot flushes and sleep disturbances were 30% less likely to be reported by women who ate a gut friendly diet with plenty of plants.’ Zoe Health Study

If you would like to kick-start some health changes this year, these programmes are for you!
